The Mayonnaise Jar and 2 Beers

When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a
day are not enough, remember the story of the mayonnaise jar and the 2 Beers.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front
of him. When the class began, he wordlessly picked up a very large and empty
mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the  students if

the jar was full.

They agreed that it was.

The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar .

He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the

 golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They

agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of

 sand and poured it into the jar.

Of  course, the sand filled up everything else.

He asked once more if the jar  was full. The  students responded with an

 unanimous 'yes.'

The professor then produced two Beers from under the table and poured the

entire contents into the jar effectively filling the empty space between the
sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor as the laughter

subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The

golf balls are the important things---your family, your children, your

health, your friends and your favorite passions---and if everything else was

lost and only they remained, your life would still be full. The pebbles are

the other things  that matter like your job, your house

 and your car. The sand is everything  else---the small stuff. 'If you put the sand

into the jar first,' he

continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.

The  same goes for life.

If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff

you will never have room for the things that are important to you.

 'Pay  attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Spend time with

your children. Spend time with your parents. Visit with grandparents. Take

time to get medical checkups. Take your spouse out to dinner. Play another

18. There will always be time to clean the house and fix  the disposal.

 Take care of the golf balls first---the things that really

matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just

 sand.'

 One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the beer represented.

The professor smiled and said, 'I'm glad you asked.' The beer just shows you

that no  matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of

beers with a friend.'

I had to share this joke with you guys. It made me laugh. It's befitting of my situation with the trolls and the TYRANTS of WOW.

The pastor of a church decided that God was calling his church to do something different than it had done before. So at the elders meeting, he presented the new vision with as much energy, conviction and passion as he could muster. When he had finished and sat down, the senior elder called for a vote. All 12 elders voted against the new vision, with only the clergyman voting for it.

"Well, pastor, it looks like you will have to think again," said the senior elder. "Would you like to close the meeting in prayer?"

So the priest stood up, raised his hands to heaven, and prayed, "LOOOOOOORD!...will you not show these people that this is not MY vision but it is YOUR vision?"

At that moment, the clouds darkened, the thunder rolled, and a bolt of lightning burst through the window and struck the table at which they were sitting, breaking it in two and throwing the pastor and all the elders to the ground.

After a moment's silence, as they were all getting up and dusting themselves off, the senior elder spoke again.
"Well, that's twelve votes to two then."

This is one of the BEST posts I have ever seen on the forums. And people thought that I wrote this to myself but I did not write this. Someone who saw the big picture...someone clever enough to see the TRUTH.

Someone named Steve wrote it.

I just wanted him to know that his note brought a smile to me in the eye of the storm....

You see, I figured out a long time ago why there was so much hate and harrassment...it was because everybody found out about my blog and legendary storylife...and they wanted to be in it so that their names and characters too could live on in immortality as mine did. Since I did not let anyone into my life at all...except for a few people like Takayo and my fellow guildies...hatred was the only way to be mentioned.

So I come across a post in the general forums, to "Ban Elitemaiden".

I was quite curious as to whom this character was said to be trolling forums, creating drama, transferring realms, and decided to track it down and read some on my own.

From Uldem, I believe, to Hyjal, to Drenden, Elitemaiden makes her way through the realms, avoiding players like you, with posts to follow this topic.

So I've read, this so called "drama"... Well I haven't read much actually but enough to get the whole sum of things.
Elitemaiden appears to be just a normal player, an unsparring skilled, knowledgeable mage at heart with more than usual desire to post about the issues found in game. After reading some recent posts on entering guilds such as Arcane Wrath, who now from an editorial point of view is making a fool of themselves. As are all trolls found in these threads.

I've been thinking of ways to slowly progress to my main point, but Ill just jump right to it, so the morons on the other end don't retard idly post WALL CRIT; which now seems inevitable.

Elitemaiden appears to be a great person. She's only sharing her side of the story to you the reader. And most but not all of you are only seemingly sliding to the negative side of things whether it be from past incidents or previous realms and guilds.

After seeing the same pattern over and over again, Elitemaiden is not the one causing the drama, but the readers and repliers. Non-stop constant flaming of her and her thoughts and opinions. Who cares if she blogs, posts or declares what she thinks of you and your guild or realm.

Let her be her. Whether she is becoming famous by her own means, or by you morons who only seems to be grabbing all the attention YOU can get from this hot topic. EM is not trying to get attention. And if she was, you are only spoiling from it as well by flaming her and her thoughts.

So Elitemaiden this is for you. Taken from Any other World by Mika.
